The RIMS is an online information management platform to facilitate the aggregation, curation, and utilization of information about research and development activities within the University. It will also act as an Innovation Management System (IMS). It intends to provide a platform for showcasing research activities, resource sharing, and collaborations. RIMS collects and stores metadata on research activities and outputs such as researchers and their affiliations and recognitions; publications, shareable resources, and patents; grants and projects; academic service and honors. An illustrative view of the RIMS and its various stockholders is shown in Figure 1.
